Founded as the Los Angeles Chapter of Les Dames in 1993, we officially expanded our name to Les Dames d’Escoffier Los Angeles/Orange County in spring 2007. As “Leaders Among Leaders,” LA/OC dames are a diverse group of involved professional women. Our ranks include publicists, chefs, hospitality, beverage professionals, teachers and writers, just to name a few. See Meet Our Members. Les Dames is one of the few professional organizations that has a broad crossover in the food, beverage and hospitality industries. This provides an opportunity to meet and interact with women you might not otherwise get to know. See Mission/community. This diversity is our real strength and we strive to serve our disparate needs while leveraging our varied talents. To that end, we are offer a wide variety of events in both Los Angeles and OrangeCounties. See Calendar. Finally, we invite prospective members as often as possible. By continuing to grow the chapter with talented leaders from diverse professional backgrounds, we will have a profound impact on the community while developing a strong ties with each other. At the same time, we will accomplish our mission.
